Barroco was chosen to participate in the 26º Art Film Festival in Montreal, Canada. The avant prèmiere will be on March 9th at 2 a.m. PM at the Goethe Institut.

Barroco film was invited to participate at the 26º FIFA `S (International Art Film Festival) “International panorama” section, which will take place at Montreal, Canada from March 6-16, 2008. This section is aimed at exposing the best of the world’s art film productions

The avant prèmiere will be on March 9th at 2 a.m. PM at the Goethe Institut.

Among the “Art Films” issues, FIFA`S Festival is considered one of the most important and prestigious organization. It was created in 1981 under the UNESCO`S sponsorship and supported by the Montréal’s Contemporary Art Museum. In 1983 the festival turned into an independent organization.

The Festival lasts 10 days long and displays around 280 movies from 25 countries. In the last years, the festival has magnified the amount of genres that participate in it. And has included new aspects, such as: caress, circus, comics and tattoos.

Increasing the audience’s interest and knowledge towards art, throughout the diffusion of Video, Cinema and TV artists, is the highlight of the festival.
